H. E. Mr. Hu Yeshun, Ambassador of China Donating Equipments to The Traditional Wushu School in Latvia

       On September 13, 2010, H. E. Mr. Hu Yeshun, Ambassador of the People's Republic of China in the Republic of Latvia paid a visit to the Traditional Wushu School in Latvia and donated some equipments for Wushu training and practice to the School.

Ambassador Hu met with Mr. Roman Vlasenko, Leader and Chief Coach of the School. Both sides exchanged views of further enhancing the mutual cooperation. Mr. Roman Vlasenko expressed his sincere thanks for the donation and the assistance accorded to the School by the Chinese side. He said that these equipments would play a big role in strengthening the training for the students and the School is looking forward to participating in the International Wushu Festival which will be held in Zheng Zhou, Henan Province of the People's Republic of China in this October. He hoped that the practice of Wushu would help to promote the mutual exchanges in the fields of educaiton, culture and sports between the two peoples of Latvia and China.

Ambassador Hu expressed his appreciation for the efforts and contributions by Mr. and Mrs. Roman Vlasenko for introducing traditional Chinese culture to the Latvian people, and wishes to see more and more people in Latvia practing Wushu to keep fit and deepen their understandings of the long standing Chinese cultures. He said that the Embassy of China in Latvia will continously provide assistances to the best of her ability to the School and play the role of a bridge for enhancing mutual understanding and friendship between the two peoples of China and Latvia. He wishes the School good luck and success in the forthcoming Wushu Festival in China.
